3/6/18

This was a walk along the higher path to Porthleven from the carpark near the main house.

It was a lovely warm evening with a mixture of sunshine and cloud which created some beautifully dramatic skies.

The hedgerows had grown so much and the wild flowers added a gorgeous splash of colour, whilst also attracting the insects.

Next month work starts on the new lower cliff path to Porthleven after the former path was was damaged in the winter storms. Hopefully this will be finished by the autumn so that I can walk and document that path too!

Today was a gloriously sunny, warm summer's day. Penrose was alive with wildlife, new growth and of course, many walkers enjoying the beautiful surroundings!

I decided to walk the whole of the way round Loe Pool today starting from the carpark and walking along the Degibna side first.

The sides of the paths had recently been cut back making the paths more accessible. the spring flowers are dying back and the summer flowers are just coming into bloom including some magnificent wild Foxgloves. It won't be long before they will all be flowering.
